Thaumatec’s 6th consecutive year to be the Gold Sponsor of Team Projects Conference (Konferencja Projektów Zespołowych) on Wrocław University of Science and Technology. These projects are interdisciplinary and are performed by undergraduate students as an obligatory course during the penultimate year of study.
From the very beginning of KPZ in 2011, more than 4500 students realised around 500 projects with the support of 50 companies. Despite the coronavirus epidemy, this year over 900 students realised 61 projects, supported by 29 companies.
This year (as 5 times in the past) Thaumatec has handed in several exciting projects proposals for students to work on. Thaumatec believes sponsoring these university events gives a great opportunity to exchange know-how experiences with university specialists and students. It also creates an opportunity to start on advanced research and development activities with the academic staff.“We are still looking for outstanding students, who would like to create their own projects in the area of Internet of Things or connectivity – with the support of Thaumatec” – said Dmytro Schestachuk, our Chief Technology Officer.
This year we supported the development of:
- Project “Exploring changes introduced in MQTT5 for IoT communication”
- Project “Bluetooth 5.0 Mesh communication in Smart Home Systems”
The knowledge we gained during those projects will be used in the successful development of the projects of our future customers.
We are very happy that once again we had the pleasure to support this initiative – it is a great way for us to meet the new generation of creative people with a passion for the technology and also to recruit some rising talents.
